Ian Fransisco Veira, penned Crucial Bankie has been recording since 1983. His first recording in Long Island was produced by renowned musical engineer, the late Phillip Smart. His second recording was done in 1985 in Jamaica at Harry J recording studio. He has performed on several international shows such as Sun Splash (1986, 1988) , St. Kitts Music Festival (1998, 2002, 2006). He has also performed in USA, England, Virgin Islands and other places too numerous to mention. Crucial Bankie has also been involved in the promotion of many reggae concerts.
